Lydney Tennis Club has 

​Lydney is a lively and friendly club, catering for all ages and abilities. Activities range from social tennis to County League matches. Tennis started here in 1952 when there were four ‘red shale’ courts, two grass courts and a double-decker bus! The latter served as the club house. Today we have four excellent tar macadam floodlit all weather courts providing all year play, and a well appointed clubhouse with catering, shower and changing facilities.
