As promised in a previous email, please find attached a calendar of events for April.
A couple of points. Certain items are regular:
COACHING
Fraser's coaching on a Sunday/Thursday (as from the 14th) and for these, he will need 2 courts.
TEAM PRACTICE
Ladies/Men's Team Practice on a Tuesday/Wednesday. Where this is the case, they won't need more than 2 courts.
JUNIORS
Junior Social + Team Practice on a Wednesday 4.30-6.00. This is supervised by club members and will combine general social tennis for juniors of all ages with team practice for those juniors playing for one of the junior teams.
LEAGUE MATCHES
Home matches take place on a Tuesday/Thursday for the Ladies and a Wednesday/Friday for the men as from 6.30 and they will need 2 courts.
Tuesday has traditionally been Team Practice Night for Ladies with Wednesday for the Men. When this happens, they won't need more than 2 courts.
When this coincides with a League Match, it is unlikely that there will also be Match Practice but possible. If so they will probably need 1 court only, leaving 1 court for general use.
Junior Matches:
When the junior teams have a home match, they will need all 4 courts to play their singles and then 2 courts for their doubles.
I shall send round an email confirming this nearer the date and saying at what time the 4 courts will be required.
