BONUS BALL 2015

Dear Bonus Ballers
Once again, thank you all very much for supporting the club in 2014. The extra funds were very important to us and were spent like this:

1. £400 towards the bridge repair
   
2. £660 to service the lights on Courts 3 and 4
   
3. £266 to install a bridge light before Christmas
   

Looking forward to 2015, we’ve secured grants to get all four courts cleaned, two repainted and the other two will have additional painted lines for junior events. The grants will need to be supplemented by about £1500 so fund raising continues to be very important.
Last year 101 balls were purchased which meant we had a first prize of £70 and a second of £31. If you’re happy to continue for another year please do the following:

1. Write a cheque for £24 made payable to Lydney Tennis Club
   
2. Post to Julia Goss, 4 Meadow Close, Viney Hill, Lydney, GL15 4NX
   
3. Alternatively post your cheque and details into the box or annoy Martin by giving it to him.
   

As soon as I receive your cheque I’ll e mail to remind you of your number. 
Naturally, we hope most of you will opt to continue and if you can persuade more friends or family to join, so much the better. As well as doing a good deed don’t forget the frisson and excitement of the monthly draw! These will resume in March when we’ll be drawing balls for 3 months.
If you feel you’d rather not this year, I’d be grateful if you could let me know so I can cross you off my telephoning list. I’ll wait a week or two then begin to ring round anyone I haven’t heard from to find out what you want to do.
