Hi All
I received an email from the clerk to the Town Council earlier in the week confirming that at last Monday's council meeting, the decision to decommission the footbridge by the club had been ratified.
It was also stated that the Chairman of the Recreation Trust was pursuing funding for the bridge's replacement, which would be discussed at their next meeting on November 25th.
This therefore means that we will be without the bridge for the foreseeable future and will need to gain access to the club via the skateboard park bridge, an inconvenience but not impossible.
I have requested that the skateboard floodlights be left on until 9.30, to provide us with light when crossing the field after playing and this has been agreed.
On a separate matter, I have 2 black HP 301 ink cartridges (worth £20 in Tesco) bought in error. My printer takes 300. As I had thrown away the receipt before realising my error, I can't now return them.
If they would be of any use to anyone, I am happy to donate them. Just let me know and I'll get them to you. It would be a shame to see them go to waste!
Regards
Martin Godwin
