After three wonderful years we have to say goodbye to Fraser who is ending his tenure as club coach. Since he’s been here our junior membership has increased dramatically and we have several teams in the Gloucestershire league. Fraser’s pupils have made great progress and he’ll be sorely missed. Although we’re sad to lose Fraser as club coach the good news is that he’s promised to come to as many open days as he can, run summer camps and continue with his popular cardio tennis sessions. Fraser has been connected to the club (man and boy) for thirteen years and we’re delighted that he’ll be around for many more. Fraser is leaving to pursue a career in teaching and we wish him all the best for the new job he’ll be starting in September.
We’re also happy to report that work on the bridge over the River Lyd should be starting in the next few weeks. It’s a long walk to the courts at the moment and local residents will finally get their usual access to the field back.
