Hi All
Please find attached the calendar of events at the club for July.
A couple of points:
Junior/Senior Tournament
This is to be followed at 2.30 by our annual 'Junior/Senior Tournament' where junior members of the club can invite any senior (member or non-member) to be their partner.
This has worked very well in the past and people wishing to enter should inform tournament organiser, Caroline Stanley by email: [email protected] by Thursday 11th July. If juniors would like to enter but have no partner, they can put their names on the notice which will be placed on the Junior Notice Board in the club house and we shall try to find partners for them. I'll send out a reminder next week.
Finally, a big 'Thank You' to the parent who replaced the leaky tap in the club house for us and apologies for the time it has taken me to do so.
Also when we had the door to the changing area repaired recently, the person who did the repairs added a 3rd hinge. Since then, you have to almost slam the door shut to make sure that the bottom lock engages into place.

- Now that the 5 junior teams have completed their match programme, Wednesdays will be noted as 'Junior Social Tennis' rather than 'Junior Social and Team Practice' and 'congratulations' to the Boys 16&Under Team on winning their division.
- Club Coach, Fraser Drew is planning to develop the programme of events offered at the club by setting up 'Cardio-Tennis' sessions during July. Once dates and details have been sent on to me, I shall update the calendar and re-send it. With it I shall attach Fraser's details for those interested in taking up the offer.
- He is also planning competitive ladders for both junior and senior members of the club + a series of summer camps for juniors during the school holidays and these details will be sent out later.
- Please note that our 2nd 'Open Day + Barbecue' is planned for Saturday July 13th 11.30-2.30. If you could advertise this round family and friends, we would be very grateful.
