Please find attached the calendar for June.
A couple of other things:
Visitors' Book
Now that the playing season is in full flow, a reminder about bringing visitors to the club. The club rules state that non-members are allowed up to 6 visits before we would expect them to take out a membership. Visitors' fees are £1 per session for juniors and £2 for adults. Any fees paid would then be deducted from a subscription taken later. This is all done on an honesty basis and we ask for visitors' names to be put in the red visitors' book on the table next to the door in the club house and any fees put in the jar which is placed alongside it. We don't expect parents of juniors who go along just for a practice with their children to pay a visitor's fee, however. Given our need to raise funds to improve facilities, though we would like to encourage those parents who can play to consider taking out a membership in their own right. It would also improve our rating with the LTA! Any subscription taken at this point would be done on a pro-rata basis.
Any queries on the above, please ask.
Crystal Glasses
I've been given a pair of unused and boxed Waterford crystal champagne glasses worth about £90-£100 as a donation to the club which I thought we could raffle.
I'll take a couple of photos and send round details in a later email.
Best Regards
