Thanks to those that have taken part in box league play over the past year or so. The feedback has been positive and I think everyone has enjoyed meeting and playing with other members.
The only downside has been the fact that there hasn't been a straightforward system to keep everyone updated with the progress and scores of other matches and it has required lots of admin time by Jason to gather details, send out emails, enter scores manually, etc.
So, having taken all this into account and spent lots of time researching other clubs and leagues we have come up with a solution. The solution is called 'tennisrungs'.
Tennisrungs is online league software that we will integrate into the website for ease of use. It will be accessible at all times. This will remove admin time for Jason as you'll be able to enter your own scores and you'll be able to see how it's progressing.
We'd like to get this up and running as soon as possible due to summer being upon us and I'd love to see you all playing more competitive matches within the club.
To join, go to our 'ladders' page here and click 'Join Now'. This will take you to the Tennisrungs site where you will be able to register and join a ladder. The 'join code' is LTC16.
There will be a ladies league, a men's league, a junior league (all ages welcome, you'll only ever play someone of a similar ability), a men's doubles league and a women's doubles league. The rules are online.
