Hi All. We are well into the season now and it's good to know the courts are being used so much.
Just a reminder, though, about keeping the facilities tidy after use. Apparently several tennis balls had been left on the courts when people came down to club night last week. I tidied up empty tubes and plastic bottles when I went down yesterday + had to turn off a tap and a light. More worryingly, the 2 doors under the sink were left hanging off last week and have since been repaired.
We are proud of the fact that we provide tennis balls for members to use (one of the few clubs to do so) and we spend several hundred pounds on them during the season. If they are left out and get soaked, they will then be no good for use after.
A reminder, please, that we expect any juniors under the age of 14 to be supervised by an adult when using the club's facilities but expect all members 14 and over to keep the place tidy after use.
