 | Hi All. We have received an email from the LTA to say that the deadline for applications for Wimbledon tickets has been extended to February 14th. If you remember, I sent out an email several weeks ago explaining that the club's allocation of tickets will be based on the number of club members with a British Tennis Membership Number who apply - whether they actually want to go to Wimbledon or not! I'm sure there's a logic in there somewhere. However, if you don't want tickets for yourselves but apply anyway, you'll be helping those who do and once we've been given our allocation of tickets, we can then do a draw to see who gets them, as there are always more who want to go than the number of tickets allocated. If you've lost the original reminder which was sent out by the LTA, you can still apply by clicking on the 'Ballot Pages' of the LTA website. Best Regards Martin Godwin |
